Each year on a starry summer Saturday evening in August, Center Street Promenade in Downtown Anaheim is transformed into an outdoor 1940’s swing club. Swing era fanatics take over the huge dance floor and enjoy the high caliber of musical entertainment. In years past, Royal Crown Revue, Jonathan Stout Orchestra and Pete Jacobs Wartime Radio Review have graced the stage at Swingin’ on the Promenade Early birds who arrive at 6pm get to learn the basics of swing dancing from veteran dancers of the OC Swing Dance Team. Then at 6:30pm the highlight of the night, Mora's Modern Swingtet hits the stage. This year, attendees get a 2-fer! Swingin’ on the Promenade and the quarterly Art Crawl Experience (ACE) are combining for an unforgettable event! "Art Crawl Experience" or simply "ACE" is a visually invigorating, tastefully titillating, and auditorily explosive event that takes place quarterly in the Downtown Anaheim Arts District. Over 1000 attendees from all over Southern California flock to the streets of Downtown Anaheim to witness the creative genius of over 50 artists. The experience spans from the Downtown Community Center, winds through the Carnegie Plaza, which houses the MUZEO and Sarah Bain Gallery, then it shoots down Center Street Promenade through the various pop-up galleries, musical oddities, gourmet food trucks to complete its course at the Rothick Art Haus.
